Job Overview & Responsibilities
The Artemis ICPS Operations Project Manager position will be located at Cape Canaveral SFB and will be enrolled to the Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (ICPS) Program Office.
Primary responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Primary customer interface for launch operations activities for ULA’s support to the Artemis missions.
- Establish close customer relationships to effectively coordinate operations requirements. Serve as ULA advocate when interfacing with Customers.
- Coordinate ULA operations requirements and agreements, support plans, budgets, and schedules with the ULA Ops leadership, Systems Engineering and Integration Team, Finance leadership, and ICPS Program Office.
- Support proposal development and manage contract execution.
- Ensure operations activities adhere to budgetary constraints.
- Provide clear communication to both internal and external team members as well as executive management.
- Coordinate with functions across the enterprise including Engineering, Operations, and Launch Operations to meet mission objectives and to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop collaborative relationships both within ULA and the Customer community.
- Understand operations requirements and coordinate execution across multiple engineering disciplines.

Bachelor
Required Years of Experience
Minimum of 6 years of related work experience
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Applicable experience with a broad-based background to include management and leadership experience in leading teams.
- Preferred experience and familiarity with NASA customers.
- Experience with program and project management principles and best practices, including task planning, budgeting and organizational skills, with an ability to drive execution.
- Ability to develop long term plans and anticipate challenges.
- Understanding of risk management principles demonstrated solid decision-making skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Experience with mission integration and launch vehicle systems.
- Experience with system integration and test.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with system integration and test, and on-console launch operations is a plus
- Experience briefing senior leaders and customer audiences
- Familiarity with and understanding of the NASA customer
- Knowledge of NASA Design and Construction Standards for Human Spaceflight.
- Experience developing technical and cost proposals
- Experience with launch vehicle processing and launch site operations
- PMP preferred
