Job Overview & Responsibilities

  

  • The GTC Operations Specialist provides support to all aspects of the enterprise to ensure compliance with USG export/import laws and regulations. 
  • The Operations Specialist must possess the skill to understand and apply U.S. law to analyze and execute ULA’s compliance program, and to provide accurate and consistent guidance to the enterprise. 
  • This position touches all aspects of ULA business including public release determinations, management of ULA export authorities, jurisdictional determinations, and licensing determinations. 
  • The Operations Specialist must have the technical skill and experience to comprehend and assess complex technical documents, papers, presentations and proposed export scenarios in order to provide accurate compliance guidance to the enterprise. 
  • The Operations Specialist must provide effective training on regulatory compliance limitations related to ULA export authorities and must possess the skill to translate these complex concepts into understandable requirements. 
  • The Operations Specialist must have the experience and skill to enforce compliance requirements while enabling the business to move forward by providing clear and concise guidance to ensure compliance.

Required Education

Bachelor

 

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 8 years of related work experience

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Expertise with U.S. Government (USG) export/import laws and regulations as it relates to export/imports
  • Ability to understand and apply U.S. law to analyze and execute a export/import compliance program
  • Expertise to comprehend and assess complex technical documents, papers, presentations and proposed export scenarios in order to provide accurate compliance guidance to the enterprise
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into understandable requirements pertaining to regulatory compliance and the ability to find compliant solutions
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to write in a clear and concise manner
  • Dependability and honesty

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering background related to US Munitions List (USML) items preferred, but not required
  • Engineering degree preferred (Manufacturing, Design)

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denver only):  $112,107.00 - $186,845.00

Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
