Job Overview & Responsibilities

   

As a Schedule Analyst 1 at ULA, you will play an important role on the Finance Integrated Program Team in Denver, CO. The individual participates in the planning, tracking, analysis, and schedule reporting on multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.

In this position, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Prepare schedules for scope and perform and/or assist in schedule analyses such as variance analysis, critical paths, schedule margin, negative float resolution, and schedule integration/risk assessment desired.
  • Prepare monthly scheduling reports with variance analysis to meet internal and external customer requirements
  • Support internal and external monthly and quarterly program reviews.
  • Collaborate with engineering to status and take monthly performance on schedules/projects
  • Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract schedule baselines.
  • Develop and deliver periodic and ad hoc reporting and analysis, schedule What-If modeling, supporting management decision making and performance measurement.
  • Communicate and integrates risks and opportunities with baseline schedules.
  • Meet critical deadlines, while producing an accurate product.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Foundational understanding of project scheduling or project management. 
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and interpret basic financial or scheduling metrics.
  • Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to deliver a clear/concise message.
  • Ability to work on a team and think independently with a proactive approach to business situations.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with MS Excel, notably pivot tables, formulas and charts.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM). 
  • Possess both technical and business acumen.

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denver only):  $57,550.00 - $95,916.00

Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
