Job Overview & Responsibilities
Part of a multi-disciplinary Systems Engineering Team in the Recurring Chief Engineer’s Office, responsible for driving rigorous systems engineering processes across Vulcan and Atlas Launch Vehicle Systems
- Provides strong Systems Engineering expertise and process / Tools guidance (Test Like You Fly (TLYF), Fishbones, trade studies, design review processes, etc.)
- Supports Non-Recurring Development/Continuous Projects to evolve the Launch Vehicle Baseline / Capability to meet Mission and Launch Rate Requirements.
- Ensures Non-Recurring Development follows applicable Command Media and System Design Review and Gate Review Criteria.
- Manages cost / schedule (when assigned as Project Lead) to deliver enhanced vehicle capabilities by required missions & their respective milestones.
- Maintains and manages the Launch Vehicle technical baseline and associated Systems Specifications.
- Works closely with Systems Engineering Lead, Engineers, and Chief Engineers to ensure Technical Decisions incorporate and assess system-level considerations/impacts.
- Supports complex integration issues, e.g. anomaly investigations, engineering corrective actions, etc.
- Performs requirements development and verification, risk, issue, and opportunity management, and trade study development and management.
- Performs system and subsystem integration ensuring that subsystems function together as an integrated system.

Bachelor
Required Years of Experience
Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative, teamwork and leadership skills.
- Ability to operate independently.

- Aerospace Engineering.

- Understanding of Revision Control.

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denver only): $98,339.00 - $153,653.00
Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
